Bunurong Respite Care
A flexible respite program for carers of people with disabilities and the frail aged living in the city of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey, and Shire of Cardinia. In-home respite, including overnight. Community access respite and group respite including Host Home, Men’s Lunch Group and a Social Respite group are available. Ages 18+ years.

Inclusive Community Recreation Options (SASI)
Families of children, adolescents, and young adults with autism (living in the Southern Metropolitan Region) are
allocated a support package to enable them the flexibility to “buy” whichever service best suits their needs. Services include weekend activities, holiday programs, camps, support to access specialised group activities, and
individualised support to enhance inclusion into existing recreation options.

Marillac House Limited - Youth Respite Service
Eligibility: Ages 12 - 18 years; registered with DHS as having a disability; residing in SMR with carer (parent/guardian/foster parent); exhibiting significant and complex behaviours of concern

The Youth Respite Service is a new service established to provide community-based respite options for children meeting the eligibility criteria requiring the provision of specialist respite support. Respite will be individualised and person-centred, with activities and supports tailored to the individual. Provision of regular planned respite will also support and strengthen the capacity of carers (family, guardians, foster parents) to continue in their caring role.

Yooralla Breakaway Flexible Respite
Funds can be provided to assist with accessing planned respite both in and out of the home. Respite options can include camps, school holiday programs, short term in-home support, etc. The program is available to people with physical or intellectual disability, sensory impairment or ABI, who are aged between birth and 64 years, live with/are dependent on a primary carer, and reside in the cities of Port Phillip, Glen Eira, Stonnington,
Bayside or Kingston.
