What is the Spiral program?
Spiral provides support to adults with a disability living in registered Supported Residential Services in the cities of Glen Eira, Port Phillip and Stonnington. Services are provided to participants on a one to one basis in the community.
Spiral assists individuals to identify and access a range of community activities and services based on an assessment of their individual needs.
What does Spiral provide?
• Assistance in accessing social & recreational activities
• Community orientation & mobility training
• Support with general issues & advocacy
• Assistance with medical support services
• Support with education/training and employment options
Spiral can assist SRS managers & staff by:
• Liasing with staff regarding support issues & needs
• Offering strategies & advice in managing challenging
• situations or behaviours • Providing education & resources on disabilities as required
Who is eligible?
• Adults living in a Supported Residential Service • Who are professionally assessed as having a disability • Residing in the local government areas of Stonnington,
• Port Phillip & Glen Eira
• Aged between 18-64 years |
