Excellence in Funds Administration
The MOIRA Financial Intermediary (F.I.) service assists people with a disability to manage their Individual Support Package (ISP) by paying for supports on their behalf.
The core goal is for the person with a disability to control their funds for the support they need to help them achieve their goals and live the way they want with a minimum of hassle or fuss.
MOIRA F.I. can assist by:
- Receiving the person’s funding directly from the Department of Human Services (DHS)
- Setting up an individual ‘account’ for each person and sending them an F.I. kit
- Making payments to service providers and suppliers on the person’s behalf
- Keeping track of the type and amount of expenditure for each person
- Providing up-to-date information to the person about their expenditure and funds availability via secure internet or mail
Put simply, we hold money on behalf of a person with a disability and pay for approved services when the person authorises us to do so.
