Housing Options Forum May 2012
Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre, Southern Region and the Brotherhood of St Laurence are hosting a forum on Housing Options for adults with a disability on May 15.
New Aspergers Parent/Carer Support Group
We're excited to announce there is a new supprot group in the Southern region for parents/carers of children and teens with high functioning Aspergers Syndrome or PDD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified).
Changes to Mental Health Medicare Rebate
There have been further changes to the Better Access to Mental Health Care item, which provides a Medicare rebate for services with a psychologist (or sometimes and OT or social worker) for individuals with mental health conditions.
Understanding Autism Spectrum Course
La Trobe University Living with Disability Research Group are running an Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Austism Spectrum course on the 29th & 30th March.
